Cinemax is yet another popular hollywood movie channel. It was laucnched as a cable channel in the early 1980s and is fully owned by Warner Bros. Discovery. Cinemax gained its initial popularity due to late night adult film telecast due to which it was also called Skinemax. However, now the channel refrains from such programming.
Cinemax has a few sister channels. Cinemax Asia was specially designed for the Asian communities with very specific content for the population.
