Discovery Asia refers to the information and entertainment channel centered around the region of Asia. This is a sister channel to the original Discovery Channel. Just like the Discovery Channel, this channel is also owned by Warner Bros. It was first launched in 2005, shortly after the Discovery Channel project was launched. The headquarters are located in Singapore.
The target audience of this channel was the majority of the Asians, and Discovery Asia is distributed all over Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, the Pacific Islands, and also to Australia and New Zealand.
