TV Okey is a cultural and youth-centric live and free-to-air channel emerging from Malaysia. It is owned by the government media broadcaster of Malaysia, commonly known as Radio Television Malaysia. The channel came into being in 2018.
Okey stands for Opportunities, Knowledge, Experience, Yours, as most programs on this channel are centered around these topics. It was launched not for the general audience in Malaysia but specifically for the Sabah and Sarawak regions.
Therefore, besides Malay, TV Okey airs programs in the languages of these areas, i.e, Iban, Kadazan-Dusun, Bajau. The urban youth of the country also benefit from the general channel lineup.
